DANOS 2005 released

We are excited to announce the second release of DANOS, the open source Network Operating System (NOS). DANOS is part of the Linux Foundation and based upon AT&T’s Vyatta NOS.

DANOS 2005 has many new features and numerous bug/security fixes. Of particular interest is the introduction of our:

• efficient Zone-Based Firewall (ZBF),

• complete IPsec RA VPN server,

• optimised Carrier-Grade NAT (CG-NAT) solution,

• support for Accton/Edgecore Qumran-MX platform AS5916-54XKS 10G/100G Edge Router, and

• dataplane pluggable (vector) architecture
