DANOS 2012 released
We are proud to announce the fourth release of DANOS, the open source Network Operating System (NOS) for Telco and Enterprise networking. DANOS is part of the Linux Foundation and based upon AT&T's Vyatta NOS.
DANOS 2012 has many new features and numerous bug/security fixes. Of particular interest is the:
Fast and flexible L3 ingress and egress stateless ACLs
User isolation - provides a secure sandbox for users so that they have limited access to the host system
Upgrade to FRR 7.4 and enhancements to BGP and IS-IS
Support for Edgecore AS5912-54X platform
Enhanced observability of stateful firewall and NAT sessions through the "show dataplane session" commands
